Do I need to register an account to mine?

Nope! Much easy. Registration is not required. Just configure your miner according to our instructions and start mining Dogecoin. Your first submitted share will automatically register you with our pool. Wow, much luck!

Why is my reported hashrate zero or different from what my miner reports?

Pool and miner hashrates are re-calculated every ten minutes. So wow. It can take up to ten minutes for your hashrate to update depending on when your first valid share was submitted. The pool hashrate we display is an approximation based on your submitted shares and may differ from the hashrate displayed locally. In case of doubt, trust your miner's value!

How will I get paid?

Our pool uses the PPLNS payment system—Pay Per Last N Shares. Here's how it works:

 

Each round has an arbitrary number of shares based on luck. Unlike proportional systems, PPLNS uses a constant number of shares (N) for rewards, which adjusts with network difficulty:

• In rounds like one and three (long rounds), all shares from that round are counted for rewards.
• In short rounds, like two and four, shares from previous rounds are also considered, so loyal miners are rewarded!
• On long rounds (like round five), older shares might be dropped, but loyal miners are still favored.

PPLNS rewards loyal Dogecoin miners! Pool hoppers (those who jump from pool to pool) may get fewer rewards than miners who stay loyal and consistent. By staying with the pool, you increase your chances of higher payouts over time.

As blocks are found, payouts are sent automatically every 10 minutes. Easy peasy.

When will I get paid?

You’ll start seeing your balance once a block is found and matured by the pool. This can take a few hours, depending on luck and difficulty. Once the block is mature, your shares will be used to calculate your contribution to finding the block. The more you mine, the bigger your cut of the block reward.

When your pending balance reaches the pool’s minimum payout, your balance is sent directly to your wallet, and your pending balance resets to zero.

We're a small, efficient pool, so it might take time to find a block, but your reward will be higher compared to a large pool, where rewards are split across more miners.
